Last month I was accepted to study Ceramics and Jewellery at Job's Well campus!  As well as being excited about the new turn my life will be taking, I am a bit nervous and apprehensive!  Will I have enough creative ideas?  Will they be good enough? Will I be the oldest student and feel like an outsider?  Will I even be able to throw a pot, let alone decorate one?  What if the jewellery pieces I make are rubbish?  What if I can't meet deadlines?

Well, one thing is for sure, I will do my best and to that end, I have started drawing classes ad attend once a week, and drawing like mad in between classes.  I've never been much good with a pencil and a blank sheet of paper, but I want to be able to turn the ideas in my head into a visual template so I can see exactly what I want to achieve with my hands.

Wish me luck, folks, I can't wait for September and the new term to begin.
